Essential information about terpenes
- Terpenes are highly refined essential oils
- They are the things that give plants their unique smells and flavours
- The important component in Cannanda’s products are the terpenes. The hemp seed oil is CB2 is just the carrier for the terpenes, ie. the hemp seed oil is NOT the active ingredient (meaning terpenes could be mixed with olive oil or coconut oil, for example, and the effect would still be the same)
- The terpenes in CB2 are extracted from other plants, ie. not hemp, which is why they are legal for us to import and sell without a licence
- The blend of terpenes in CB2 and Cannanda’s other products are designed to mimic and replicate the terpene profile of hemp
- Your body doesn’t know the difference between a terpene that comes from a hemp plant vs. a terpene that comes from another plant, so the effect on the body is the same
- There is no risk of getting in trouble with the law or having your products seized by the authorities or customs
- There is no risk of testing positive for any tests
- Terpenes work with cannabinoids to produce what’s known as “the entourage effect”, ie. they work together to give a better overall effect
Benefits of terpenes
✅ Essential oils have been used for thousands of years to help with illness
✅ Terpenes bind to receptors in your brain and body, working in harmony with your ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM to help bring BALANCE to the body.
✅ The endocannabinoid system is like a tank in your body. If your tank is low or empty, you are more likely to feel stressed and anxious, have poor sleep, and feel depressed.
✅ If you take terpenes daily (in the morning and evening, for example), it’s like you are filling up a tank in your body to restore your body’s natural balance.
✅ The endocannabinoid system has been shown to play a significant role in the way our body responds to stress, and it’s responsible for maintaining many of our daily bodily functions such as naturally preventing diabetes and maintaining healthy bone density.
✅ Diseases such as depression, IBS, fibromyalgia, arthritis and migraines are intrinsically linked with lower levels of endocannabinoids
✅ If our endocannabinoid system is not functioning correctly or unbalanced, then your whole body could be at risk.
✅ The endocannabinoid system can help assist the performance of our immune system, nervous system and all of the body’s organs; it acts as a bridge between body and mind.
